Gotta Wear Shades, owned by Robin Porter and shown by Shawn Rooker, won the Arabian English Pleasure Extravaganza class, winning $11,000.

Special Delivery also owned by Robin Porter and shown by Shawn Rooker, were Reserve Champion in the Half Arabian English Pleasure Extravaganza winning $2,800.

Toi Store CRF, owned and shown by Robin Porter, won the Half Arabian Country Pleasure AAOTR Championship.

Paloozo owned by Steve and Katie Hull won the Half Arabian Park horse Championship, shown by Shawn Rooker.

Crowd Control, owned by Robin Porter and shown by Shawn Rooker won the Half Arabian English Pleasure Jr. Horse Championship.

Makenna Rooker won the Arabian Western Pleasure JTR Championship riding JD Cruise Control, owned by Jennifer McVoy.

ERA Noble Figaro was Reserve Champion Half Arabian English pleasure JTR, owned and shown by Savannah Morris.

GSF Trulee, owned by KIm Munro was 1st in the Arabian English Pleasure Jr. Horse Class, shown by Shawn Rooker and Top 8 in the Championship.

The 2009 Scottsdale Show was a huge success for Rooker Training Stable, their clients and their breeding program featuring Apollopalooza and VCP Magnifire.

GSF Ambienze, owned by Nick and Juliet Carden of Leesburg, Georgia was Champion in the AEPA Maturity and also Reserve Champion
in the Purebred English Pleasure Jr. Horse.

Gotta Wear Shades owned by Robin Porter of Dunnellon, Florida, was Reserve in the AEPA Maturity class and the dual victory pass brought the crowd to there feet. In addition to Gotta Wear Shades, her four year old stallion Turn It Up was Reserve in the very competitive AEPA Futurity. This class was really exciting this year with lots of great young horses. Robin also had two western horses with Josh Quintus of Colonial Wood Training Center and both did very well. Arktik CAHR was Champion in her age group of the purebred AOTR and Reserve in the ATR. The star of her show string was the four year old Half Arab buckskin gelding Caliente Virtuoso. He made a clean sweep, winning all of his qualifying classes and Championships with Josh in the HA Jr. Horse and winning both the AO and AT with Robin. What a show!

Calapalooza and Michelle Wawzysko were Champion in both the JOTR & JTR 17/under English Pleasure classes at Scottsdale.  Congratulations.

Scottsdale was also a successful show for GSF Magdelena. A sporty mare by VCP Magnifire and owned by Ashley Gallun of Scottsdale, Arizona. GSF Magdelena was Top Ten placing 3rd in the Half Arabian English Pleasure Jr. Horse Championship. VCP Magnifire is producing extremely well and we are looking forward to showing several other young horses by him in the very near future.

Apollopalooza offspring also took center stage at the Cedar Ridge Sale. Encore, owned by Tom and Liz Moore topped the sale for $239,000 and was purchased by the Encore Select Group.  The second highest seller was Mike Medved’s exciting Reserve National Champion Half Arabian Park mare, Polkapalooza who sold to the Larwrences’ of Starline Arabians for $225,000. Botox owned by Cole Burr also sold for $57,000 to the Shoshona family.  We are proud of these Apollopalooza get. We look forward to watching the show careers of these great young horses.

As you can see, 2009 is off to a fabulous start and we are excited and ready for another great show season.
